Selection process

  1. 1Shortlisting will be done based on the information/declaration submitted by the candidate at the time of online application submission.
  2. 2Candidates having experience from Mining, Metallurgical, Chemical, Power, Manufacturing/Production sectors will have an advantage.
  3. 3The management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria with respect to qualifying marks, years of experience, etc. to restrict the number of candidates for shortlisting.
  4. 4The assessment will be made through Personal Interview / Psychometric Test / Group Exercise or combinations thereof.
  5. 5In case the number of screened-in candidates is more, IREL reserves the right to conduct multiple levels of interviews.
  6. 6Based on performance in the personal interview, organizational requirement, vacancies to be operated, and suitability, candidates will be selected.
  7. 7The Company reserves the right to conduct a Written Test or any other test if required.

  2. Step-I: Register by filling in Personal Details and Contact Details. An OTP will be sent to your registered Mobile No. and E-mail ID. Verify both OTPs to complete registration. You will receive an Application Sequence Number (User ID) and Password.
  3. Step-II: Re-login using the User ID and Password. Complete all fields including Personal Details, Additional Details, Communication Details, Qualification Details, and Declaration.
  4. Upload all required documents including recent passport-size photograph (JPG/JPEG, min 100KB max 200KB, 3.5cm x 4.5cm) and signature (JPG/JPEG, min 80KB max 150KB).
  5. Preview the application form and verify all details. Edit if necessary before final submission.
  6. Submit the application and pay the applicable fee online via Payment Gateway (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Wallets/UPI).
  7. After successful payment, print and save the Application Form in PDF for future reference.
  8. Candidates from Govt./PSU must forward their application through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview.

Other Important Information: Organization: IREL (India) Limited is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Cut-off Date: The cut-off date for reckoning eligibility for educational qualifications, age, and experience is 10/08/2026. Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL): 3 years; SC: 5 years; PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years; PwBD OBC (NCL): 13 years; PwBD SC: 15 years; Ex-Servicemen: as per rules; Central/State Govt./PSU employees: 5 years; J&K domicile (01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989): 5 years; IREL internal candidates: 10 years. Maximum age including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years. Qualification: All prescribed qualifications must be with First Class (60% marks) for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates. This requirement is not applicable for qualified CAs/CMAs/CSs. Experience: Apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, Executive Trainee/Management Trainee/GET Training period will be counted towards post-qualification experience. Teaching/Research Fellowship experience will NOT be considered. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will have to undergo a pre-employment medical examination arranged by the company’s Medical Officers. Wait List: A reasonable waitlist will be prepared and will be valid for one year. Travelling Allowance: Candidates called for face-to-face interview will be reimbursed to and fro III AC rail fare for E-1 to E-5 grades and II AC rail fare for E-6 & E-7 grades. Candidates from Govt./PSU: Must forward applications through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview. Joining IREL is subject to production of proper relieving order. Ineligible Candidates: Candidates removed/terminated/deserted from IREL and those who have retired under VRS from Govt./PSUs including IREL are not eligible.
