Selection process

  1. 1Personal Interview Only: Selection will be done through Personal Interview only. No written test is involved.
  2. 2Shortlisting: Applications will be scrutinized based on minimum eligibility criteria (educational qualification, age, category, years of PPQE). Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 (maximum) as per Company rules.
  3. 3Tie-breaking: In case of tie in relevant experience, candidates with higher marks in qualifying examination will be preferred. In case of equal marks, the elder/senior candidate will be preferred.
  4. 4Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for all particulars declared in the Application Form prior to the Interview, including NOC (if applicable), caste/disability/income certificates, and experience documents.
  5. 5Interview Assessment Parameters: Knowledge of the job applied for

How to apply

  1. Visit HAL Website www.hal-india.co.in (Careers Section) and click the link for Registration.
  2. Select the name of the post for which you want to apply.
  3. Fill in Eligibility Details accurately and upload photograph. A unique Application number will be generated.
  4. Fill in all relevant details of the Application Form including Personal, Qualification, PPQE and Pen Picture details.
  5. SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Complete registration on the Application Confirmation page and print it for future reference.
  6. UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates: Proceed to make Online Payment of Rs.500/- (inclusive of GST) through SB Collect via Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI etc.
  7. Wait 48-72 hours for validation of payment and confirmation of submission.
  8. Upon successful validation, download the final submitted Application Form and print the Application Confirmation page.
  9. Apply for ONE POST only. Application once submitted cannot be altered.
  10. Ensure a valid Mobile Number and E-mail ID are provided for future communications.
Documents and additional conditions

Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond to serve HAL for 3 years. Bond amount: Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs), limited to 6 months Basic Pay plus Dearness Allowance. Bond liability is non-depreciating during the Bond Tenure. Training: Inducted executives will undergo Two Weeks structured training at HAL Management Academy / Division of posting, followed by One Week Familiarization program at the Division of Posting. Remuneration (besides Basic Pay): Variable Dearness Allowance, Perquisites & Allowances @ 35% of running Basic Pay (Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation / HRA, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Provident Fund, Gratuity, Annual Increment @ 3% of running Basic Pay. Minimum Marks: For Manager (Design) posts – UR/OBC/EWS: minimum 70% aggregate; SC/ST/PwBD: minimum 60% aggregate in both B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech. No minimum percentage for Finance discipline. PPQE Requirements: Finance Officer (Grade II): 2 years (1 year in next below grade); Deputy Manager (Finance) (Grade III): 5 years (3 years in next below grade); Manager (Design) (Grade IV): 8 years (3 years in next below grade). Only Regular/Full-Time courses recognized by statutory bodies are eligible. Correspondence/Distance/Part-Time/E-Learning qualifications are not eligible. Only ONE POST application is allowed per candidate. Multiple applications for the same post will result in only the last valid application being retained and fee forfeited for others. External Candidates Only: These vacancies are for external candidates through Direct Recruitment. Internal candidate applications will not be considered. VRS Candidates: Candidates who have availed VRS from a PSU must return VRS compensation to the concerned PSU before joining HAL. Jurisdiction: Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Bengaluru. Beware of Fraud: Candidates should be alert of fake emails, WhatsApp messages, SMS and should not make payment to any individual/agency for securing employment in HAL. PwBD Age Limit: After all applicable relaxations, age should not exceed 56 years for PwBDs and 55 years for all other candidates.
