Selection process
- 1Applications and certificates of candidates will be screened on the day of selection to ascertain eligibility for the post applied.

- 3Eligible candidates will be required to appear for the selection process at EIL offices in Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Kolkata, or Vadodara.

- 5Depending on the number of candidates, the process may extend up to 08:00 PM on the same day and, if required, continue on the next day.
- 6Candidates who have registered online and report with a printout bearing a valid registration number will only be considered.
- 7Selected candidates shall be required to join immediately and must be found medically fit.

How to apply
- Visit the EIL official website: http://www.engineersindia.com and navigate to the career link.
- Read all instructions carefully before filling the application form.
- Fill in the online form with all relevant correct details. Round off percentage of marks to lower whole number (e.g., 60.9 → 60) and CGPA to lower decimal (e.g., 6.95 → 6.9).
- Keep scanned copies ready for upload: latest passport size colour photograph (.jpg/.jpeg, max 75 KB) and signature (.jpg/.jpeg, max 25 KB).
- Submit the online application between 0000 hrs on 07.08.2026 and 2359 hrs on 21.08.2026.
- Take a printout of the application form (6 copies), affix colour photograph, and bring it while reporting for the selection process.
- A candidate can apply for one position only. In case of multiple applications, the latest one shall be considered final.

Other Important Information: Nature of Engagement: Fixed Term Basis for a period of 2 years. Services stand automatically terminated on expiry of the period unless terminated earlier. No claim for regular appointment in EIL will be entertained. Place of Posting: National Capital Region (NCR); however, posting can be anywhere in India and abroad depending on organizational requirement. Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (NCL): 3 years; PwD (General/EWS): 10 years; PwD-OBC (NCL): 13 years; PwD-SC/ST: 15 years; Ex-Servicemen: as per GoI rules. PwD Eligibility: Persons with 40% or more disability are eligible to apply under PwD category. Reservation as per GoI directives. Other Benefits: (1) Reimbursement of Medical Insurance Premium for self up to Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum. (2) Reimbursement of Out-of-Pocket expenses for working beyond standard working hours. (3) Coverage under GPAI Scheme as per Company Policy. (4) Travelling Allowances for official duties outside place of posting. (5) Paid leave of 2 days for each completed month. CGPA Conversion: Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA required. If no documentary proof from institute, conversion table applies (e.g., 60% = 6.5 on 10-point scale, 5.4 on 9-point scale, 4.8 on 8-point scale, etc.). Documents Required at Selection: 6 copies of online application form with photograph, valid photo ID, DOB certificate, educational qualification certificates, experience certificates, category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen), NOC if working in Central/State/Autonomous Body. Jurisdiction: Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi. EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or selection process without assigning any reason.
