Selection process
- 1GATE Score Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction/Interview based on valid GATE 2024/2025/2026 score in the ratio of 1:5 (discipline-wise and category-wise merit list). Equal weightage is given to GATE 2024, 2025, and 2026 scores.
- 2Document Verification: Conducted before the Personal Interaction/Interview. Candidates must produce original documents. Non-production of documents will debar the candidate from the interview.
- 3Personal Interaction/Interview: Candidates found eligible after document verification will appear for interaction/interview (Max marks: 50), assessed on: (a) Technical/Academic Knowledge, (b) Presentation/Communication Skill/Comprehension, (c) Academic Performance (0.05 marks per percentage in essential qualification degree).
- 4Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% for Unreserved category
- 540% for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwBD category in Personal Interaction/Interview.
- 6Final Merit List: Based on aggregate of 60% weightage of GATE Score + 40% weightage of Personal Interaction/Interview marks (discipline-wise and category-wise).
- 7Tie-Breaking: (1) Higher GATE score; (2) Higher marks in Technical/Academic knowledge section; (3) Older candidate ranked higher.

- STEP 1: Complete Registration with valid Email ID and active Mobile Number.
- STEP 2: Fill the Online Application Form and upload required documents (photograph, signature, certificates in specified formats).
- STEP 3: Submit the application form and Download the Confirmation Page.
- Keep scanned photograph (JPEG/JPG, 50KB–200KB), signature (JPEG/JPG, 10KB–50KB), and all required documents (PDF, 10KB–500KB) ready before applying.
- Aadhaar based authentication will be used at every stage of the recruitment process.
- Application window: 14/07/2026 to 17/08/2026 (5:30 PM).

Documents and additional conditions
Experience Required: No experience required. Place of Posting: Anywhere in India or outside India as per organizational requirement. Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India or eligible as per Government of India rules (Nepal/Bhutan subjects, Tibetan refugees, persons of Indian origin from specified countries with eligibility certificate). GATE Score Verification: Candidates must validate their GATE scores on the day of interview by logging into the GATE Results portal using their own credentials. False GATE scores may lead to proceedings under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, 2023. OBC (NCL) Certificate: Must be issued during Financial Year 2026-27 (on or after 01.04.2026) for Central Government appointment. EWS Certificate: Must be valid for Financial Year 2026-27 (issued for FY 2025-26). PwBD Certificate: Minimum 40% permanent disability certificate required. NOC: Candidates working in Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must submit NOC from their employer. No TA/DA: No travel/daily allowance will be paid for attending document verification and interview. Aadhaar Authentication: Aadhaar-based authentication will be used at every stage of the recruitment process. Jurisdiction: Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be in Delhi. CERT-In Note: CERT-In is a Statutory Organisation under MeitY. CGHS facility is not available; a separate medical policy exists for CERT-In employees. Total Vacancies: 133 (83 CS + 25 DA + 25 EC). The number of posts is tentative and may increase or decrease at CERT-In’s discretion.
