Selection process
- 1Nominations of candidates received from BOPT/NATS (for Graduate/Diploma) and RDAT/NAPS (for ITI Trade) portals only will be considered for provisional selection.
- 2Provisional selection will be based on percentage (%) of marks in the required educational qualification.
- 3Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document Verification through their registered email IDs only.
- 4Final selection will be based on Interview/Verification of Certificates and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
- 5Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentice at O/o the Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52 ONLY.

How to apply
- Graduate/Diploma Apprentices must register and apply through the NATS/BOPT portal at https://nats.education.gov.in. Search for establishment: Airports Authority of India, O/o Airport Director, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52 (Establishment Code: EWBPNC000002).
- ITI Trade Apprentices must register and apply through the NAPS portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.org. Search for establishment code: E06161900020.
- After successful application, the message ‘Successfully applied for the training position. Based on availability, you will be contacted by the establishment’ will appear.
- Candidates must register on the concerned portal (NATS/BOPT for Graduate/Diploma
- NAPS for ITI Trade) prior to applying.
- Applications received only through NATS/BOPT/NAPS portal will be considered. No other mode of application will be entertained.
- Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
- No Application Fee is charged.
Documents and additional conditions
Domicile Requirement: Only Indian Nationals having domicile of West Bengal are eligible. Year of Passing: Candidates who passed degree/diploma/ITI in 2022 or after 2022 are eligible. Duration of Training: 1 year for all posts. Location: O/o the Airport Director, AAI, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata-52. No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for document verification/interview/joining. No Employment Guarantee: AAI has no obligation to give regular/contractual employment to Apprentices. This training program shall not create any liability on AAI for providing any job. Reservation: SC/ST, OBC, PWD reservations as per Govt. of India guidelines are applicable. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per Govt. of India guidelines. Ineligibility: Candidates who have already completed or terminated apprenticeship midway, or are pursuing apprenticeship in other organizations with the same qualification level, are not eligible. Candidates with job experience of 1 year or more after attainment of essential qualifications are also not eligible. Single Discipline: Candidates applying for more than one discipline will be rejected. Medical Fitness: Medical Fitness Certificate must be obtained from a Government Medical Officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining.
