Selection process
- 1Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type test for all posts. No negative marking for wrong answers. Test will be bilingual (Hindi and English) except language tests. Syllabus will be uploaded on AAI website.
- 2Application Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on CBT performance will be called for document verification.
- 3Interview: Applicable for Post Codes 1 to 11 (all Manager posts). Final merit list will be based on CBT + Interview performance.
- 4Physical Tests (Manager – Fire Services only): Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, and Physical Endurance Test (Running, Casualty Carrying, Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing, Full Ladder Climbing & Descending) after Application Verification. Only qualifying candidates will be called for Interview. Valid Permanent Light Motor Vehicle License is mandatory.
- 5Light Motor Vehicle License: Essential for Manager (Operations) and Junior Executive (Operations) posts. Temporary/Learning License not accepted.
- 6If CBT is held in multiple sessions, scores will be equated to adjust for difficulty level differences.
- 7Biometric data will be captured at the examination hall for identity verification.

- Click on the relevant recruitment advertisement link (Advt No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT).
- Register online by providing a valid personal E-mail ID and Mobile Number.
- Fill in all required details carefully including personal information, educational qualifications, and work experience.
- Upload scanned images of photograph (jpg/jpeg, 20kb–50kb), signature (10kb–20kb), left thumb impression (20kb–50kb), and hand-written declaration (50kb–100kb) as per specified dimensions.
- Capture and upload a live photograph using webcam or mobile phone as instructed.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (inclusive of GST) through online mode using Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets. (SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and AAI Apprentices are exempted.)
- Submit the application form and take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form for future reference.
- Candidates can apply for multiple posts with separate registration and fee payment for each post.

Other Important Information: Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (NCL): 3 years; PwBD (permanent disability): 10 years; Ex-Servicemen: 5 years; AAI regular employees who have completed probation: 10 years. Work Experience (Manager posts): Minimum 3 years post-qualification work experience required. Experience must be from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Large Private Sector Organizations (listed companies on NSE/BSE Group A or B, or companies with more than 250 employees, or annual turnover more than Rs. 250 crores). Work Experience (Junior Executive posts): No work experience required. Approximate CTC: Junior Executive: Rs. 14 lakhs per annum; Manager: Rs. 21 lakhs per annum. Perks & Benefits: Dearness Allowance, Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical benefits as per AAI Rules. Pay Protection: Available for eligible candidates coming through proper channel from other CPSEs/State PSUs/Government Departments as per DPE Guidelines. Colour Blindness/Night Blindness: Rejection criterion for all posts except Post Codes 3 & 12 (Manager Finance and Junior Executive Finance). Posting: Selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere in India. Manager (Fire Services) Bond: Selected candidates must execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 5 Lakhs to serve AAI for 3 years after completion of training. OBC (NCL) Certificate: Must be issued during Financial Year 2026-27 in the format for appointment to posts under Government of India. EWS Certificate: Must be valid for Financial Year 2026-27. Multiple Applications: Candidates can apply for multiple posts with separate registration and fee payment for each post. Jurisdiction: Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi. Advertisement Language: In case of any dispute, the English version of the Employment Notice will be treated as valid.
