- 1Walk-in Interview will be conducted at the Chamber of Principal, Central Railway Secondary School (EM) & Junior College, Kalyan.
- 2Candidates will be evaluated by a Selection Committee and engagement on contract basis will be subject to being found suitable in order of merit.

How to apply
- Candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions should appear for Walk-in Interview as per the scheduled dates at the venue: Chamber of Principal, Central Railway Secondary School (EM) & Junior College, Kalyan.
- PGT Interview: 19.08.2026 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
- TGT Interview: 20.08.2026 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
- Primary Teacher (PRT) Interview: 21.08.2026 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
- Candidates should bring original documents along with one attested copy: Date of Birth Certificate or Xth Board Certificate, NOC from current employer, Experience Certificate (if any), Academic/Educational Qualification Mark Sheets and Certificates, Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
- Candidates should indicate past service rendered, if any, including the period of contract put in on Indian Railway.
- Those appearing at or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible.
- Candidates should be prepared to stay in Mumbai for a minimum of 3 days for viva. No accommodation will be provided.
Documents and additional conditions
Important Information: Contract Duration: Valid for a maximum period of 200 working days and a minimum period of 7 working days or availability of a regularly selected candidate, whichever is earliest. No Permanent Rights: Contract Teachers will not have any claim or right to continuity in service or automatic extension of contract. Service rendered on part-time contract will not be counted for regular selection through Railway Recruitment Board and will not form part of the cadre of railway teachers. Teaching Load: Maximum teaching periods allotted shall not exceed 5 per day. Duties: Contract teachers will perform all jobs related to academics including evaluation work, for which no additional payment will be made. No Benefits: Contract teachers are not entitled to leave, medical, passes, PTO, transportation, or vacation pay during Autumn/Winter break. Pro Rata Recovery: In case of absence from duty on working days, pro rata recovery shall be made. Formula: (Consolidated Monthly Remuneration × Number of Days Worked) / 30. Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks in the concerned subject is mandatory for each PGT/TGT and PRT. Documents Required at Interview: Date of Birth Certificate or Xth Board Certificate, NOC from current employer, Experience Certificate (if any), Academic/Educational Qualification Mark Sheets and Certificates (from recognized Institution/Board), Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. Accommodation: No accommodation will be provided for candidates appearing for interview. Candidates should be prepared to stay in Mumbai for a minimum of 3 days for viva. Forged Documents: Candidates submitting forged caste certificates shall be liable to rejection of candidature.
