How to apply
- Download the application form (Annexure I & II) from the Indian Navy website www.indiannavy.gov.in.
- Fill the application form in A4 size paper typed in Hindi/English as per the prescribed proforma.
- Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates (educational qualifications, experience, age proof, identity, address, service documents etc.).
- Attach copies of CR dossier/APARs for the last five years duly attested by an officer of the rank of Under Secretary of the Govt. of India or above.
- Attach Vigilance Clearance Certificate, Integrity Certificate, statement of major/minor penalty (if any) imposed during last ten years, and Cadre Clearance Certificate.
- Attach a passport size photograph duly attested on reverse by current employer, pinned with the application.
- Forward the application through proper channel (Employer/Cadre Controlling Authority must countersign and certify).
- Send the application by Speed Post/Registered Post ONLY (applications forwarded by any other means will not be accepted).

Advertisement No.: INCET-01/2026(ABS/DEP) Recruitment Type: Deputation (including Short-Term Contract/ISTC/Re-employment for Armed Forces Personnel) and Absorption Total Vacancies: 382 (approximate, subject to change) Period of Deputation: Shall ordinarily not exceed three years (including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment). Age Limit: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications (25 Aug 2026). Re-employment: Armed Forces personnel (JCOs of Army or equivalent of Navy/Air Force or above) due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within one year and possessing requisite qualifications/experience are also eligible for consideration. Service Conditions: Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India. They will normally serve in units under administrative control of respective Command HQs but can be posted anywhere in India as per administrative requirements. Absorption: Employees seeking absorption will join with zero seniority in new units. Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate application forms for each post. Multiple applications against a single post will be summarily rejected. Withdrawal: Candidates who apply will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. Selected candidates shall not be allowed to withdraw or refuse to join. Vacancies are provisional and may be increased/reduced or made NIL without assigning any reason. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Advance copies of application without duly filled prescribed annexures and signed by Cadre Controlling Authorities will not be entertained. Sponsoring Authority is responsible for releasing the selected candidate within one month of issue of appointment order. Documents to be submitted: APARs/CR dossier for last 5 years, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, statement of penalties (last 10 years), Cadre Clearance, self-attested educational/technical certificates, passport size photograph attested by current employer.
