Selection process
- 1Written Competitive Examination: Objective type multiple choice (MCQ) offline written exam of 100 marks, duration 2 hours. Questions will be based on the educational qualification of the post.
- 2Minimum Qualifying Marks: Unreserved and OBC candidates must score minimum 45%
- 3SC/ST candidates must score minimum 35%.
- 4Negative Marking: 1/4th (one-fourth) negative marking for each wrong answer.
- 5Merit List: Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam. In case of tie, seniority will be determined by age (older candidate ranked higher), then alphabetical order.
- 6Document Verification: Document verification is a mandatory part of the selection process after the written exam, where all reservation/educational/preferential/experience claims are verified.

- Register using your Aadhaar number (one Aadhaar can be used only once)
- Fill in personal and educational details carefully
- Upload scanned passport-size photo (150×200 px), signature (150×100 px), and left thumb impression (150×100 px) in JPG/JPEG format
- Upload High School certificate, Aadhaar card (both sides), reservation category certificates, and experience certificates if required
- Pay the application fee via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
- Submit the application form before the last date (15 August 2026)
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference

Exam Pattern: 100 marks, 2 hours, objective type MCQ, offline (OMR based). OMR answer sheet in triplicate; candidates may retain the third copy. Answer Key: Provisional answer key will be published on the official website after the exam. Candidates can raise objections online at Rs. 50/- per question within the stipulated time. Important Note: Candidates already employed in Uttarakhand state services do not need employment office registration.
