Selection process

  1. 1Written Examination (Objective Type): Conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) or OMR-based Offline mode as decided by the Commission.
  2. 2Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 150 Marks (Bilingual: English & Telugu).
  3. 3Paper-II: Subject Concerned (Common to All) at P.G. Level – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 300 Marks (English).
  4. 4Total Marks: 450
  5. 5Qualifying Marks: OC, Sportspersons & EWS – minimum 40%
  6. 6BCs – minimum 35%
  7. 7SCs, STs & PHs – minimum 30%.
  8. 8Selection will be based on merit as per rank in the merit list against available vacancies in the Multi Zone.
  9. 9In case of tie in total marks, the following criteria are applied in order: Local status (Telangana locals preferred), Date of Birth (elder candidate ranked higher), Marks in subject paper(s), Date of passing qualifying examination, Percentage of marks in qualifying examination, Higher qualification, Date of passing higher qualification, Percentage in higher qualification.

How to apply

  1. Visit the TGPSC website at https://www.tgpsc.gov.in and register through One Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered, to obtain a TGPSC ID.
  2. If already registered, log in using your TGPSC ID and Date of Birth, and authenticate via OTP received on your registered mobile number.
  3. Verify the details fetched from OTR database (Name, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Community, Gender, Disability, Ex-Servicemen & Sports, etc.).
  4. Select the preferred examination centre.
  5. Preview the application for correctness and click on SAVE & PAYMENT button to proceed to online fee payment.
  6. Pay the prescribed application processing fee and examination fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI via the payment gateway.
  7. After payment, download the generated PDF application form and note the Reference ID Number for future correspondence.

Local Reservation: 95% local reservation applicable for Multi Zone-I and Multi Zone-II posts as per G.O.Ms.No.124 GA (SPF-MC) Department, dated 30/08/2018. Examination Centres: Hyderabad (including HMDA Jurisdiction), Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad. Objection Fee: Rs. 500/- per question for raising objections on the answer key (refundable if objection is sustained). Memorandum of Marks: Available online for Rs. 200/- within 30 days of result publication. Ms. No. 81 GA (Ser.A) Department, dated 22/02/1997. Unfilled Vacancies: Unfilled/non-joining vacancies shall be carried forward to the next recruitment.
