- 1Written Examination: General Competitive Examination as per syllabus available on the Commission’s official website (Notification No. A12032/1/2022-MPSC(DR) dated 27th May, 2025).
- 2Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Male: Height – 156 cms, Chest Normal – 77 cms, Chest Expanded – 82 cms
- 3Female: Height – 150 cms, Chest Normal – 72 cms, Chest Expanded – 74 cms.
- 4Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Male: 100m in 15 sec, 800m in 3 mins, High Jump 108 cms, Long Jump 366 cms
- 5Female: 100m in 30 sec, 400m in 3 mins, High Jump 80 cms, Long Jump 244 cms.
- 6Mizo Language Proficiency Qualifying Test: Candidates must achieve pass mark (exemption applicable for those who studied Mizo in Class X or above).
- 7Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

- Visit the Mizoram Public Service Commission’s official online portal at https://mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
- If not already registered, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the portal before applying.
- Fill in the application form with accurate and complete details.
- Upload all mandatory documents including: Marksheets of HSLC and above, Educational Certificates of HSLC and above, Proof of Computer Proficiency, Proof of Mizo Language Proficiency, SC/ST Certificate (if applicable), Proof of date of birth, Graduation certificate and complete marksheets.
- Pay the application fee (UPI payment must be done using the mobile number used for OTR registration). Persons with disabilities are exempted from payment.
- Verify that the application is actually submitted after payment is made.
- Submit the application before 28/08/2026 upto 4:00 PM.

Classification: Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) Department: Excise & Narcotics Department Job Description: Detection, investigation, and prosecution of offences under the laws enforced by the Department. Maintaining strict discipline while effectively leading subordinates during raids. Canvassing: Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature. Debarment: Candidates found guilty of misconduct, using unfair means or intimidation of officials shall be debarred from any examination/recruitment conducted by MPSC. Record will also be shared with UPSC and other State PSCs. Government Servants: Interested Government servants are advised to apply through proper channel. Application Fee: Fees once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. Persons with disabilities are exempted from payment. UPI Payment: UPI payment must be done using only the mobile number used for one-time registration. Document Upload: Failure to upload any mandatory documents by the closing date will result in rejection of the application. Uploaded files should not be protected from viewing or printing.
