How to apply
- Visit the Mizoram Public Service Commission’s online portal at https://mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
- If not already registered, complete the one-time registration (OTR) on the portal well before the last date.
- Log in and fill in the application form for the post of Soil Conservation Ranger.
- Upload all mandatory documents: Marksheets of HSLC & above, Educational Certificates of HSLC & above, Proof of Computer Proficiency, Proof of Mizo Language Proficiency, SC/ST Certificate (if applicable), Proof of date of birth, and Proof of educational qualifications.
- Pay the application fee through the available payment modes (UPI must use the mobile number used for one-time registration). Persons with disabilities are exempted from payment.
- Verify that the application is actually submitted after payment is made.

Classification: Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) Department: Land Resources, Soil & Water Conservation Job Description: S.C. Ranger is the head in the lowest departmental establishment at the field level. Responsible for identifying priority areas with subordinate staff for works/schemes, contacting farmers, collecting information, preparing consolidated reports, and submitting monthly progress reports to DSCO. Also serves as reporting authority for ACRs for all field staff placed under him. Probation: Selected candidates must successfully complete Forest Ranger Training from a recognized Institution within the Probation period. Disqualifications: Canvassing directly or indirectly, incomplete/incorrect application details, failure to meet eligibility conditions, or failure to submit required documents within the stipulated time will result in disqualification. Debarment: Candidates found guilty of misconduct, using unfair means, or intimidating officials shall be debarred from all MPSC examinations. Records will be shared with UPSC and other State PSCs. Government Servants: Must apply through proper channel. Application Fee: Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment. Fees once paid are non-refundable. Helpline: 0389-3596493 on working days between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Aadhaar Card: Not acceptable as valid proof of date of birth as per UIDAI clarification.
