How to apply
- Apply ONLINE through the Institute website www.bsip.res.in under the section “CAREER BSIP RECRUITMENT PORTAL”.
- Fill in the online application form and upload required documents including Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- (for Gen/OBC/EWS candidates).
- Send the Hard Copy of the Online Application along with self-attested copies of Mark Sheets, Certificates, Degrees, Testimonials, etc., and Demand Draft to the Registrar, BSIP, 53, University Road, Lucknow 226 007 via Speed/Registered Post only.
- The envelope should be super-scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST ‘B'”.
- Hard copy must reach on or before 11th September 2026 till 1730 hrs.
- Persons working in Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Bodies shall submit their applications through proper channel within due date.

Documents and additional conditions
Selected candidates will be appointed initially on probation of two years. Continuation of service will depend on satisfactory clearance of probation. Candidates selected will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. Usual allowances as per rules of the Institute (Government of India pattern) are admissible. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification. The number of posts may vary. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any of the posts. If any information is found suppressed or false before or after selection, the candidature/selection shall be liable to be rejected/cancelled. In case of disputes, territorial jurisdiction shall be restricted to Courts in Lucknow (District Court Lucknow and Lucknow Bench of Hon’ble High Court, Allahabad). Candidates who had applied under Advertisement No. BSIP/S&A/02/2023 dated 14.02.2023 must mandatorily re-submit the online application form within the specified deadline and send the hard copy. Their previous application is still valid but re-submission is mandatory. They are exempt from paying the application fee again. Any modifications/amendments/corrigendum will be made available only on BSIP Website and/or BSIP recruitment portal. No further press advertisement will be published.
