- 1Walk-in-Interview will be conducted at 10.30 AM on 18.08.2026 in the conference room at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar.
- 2Candidates must report at S.S. Bhatnagar Hall, CSIR-IMMT between 9.30 AM and 10.15 AM for registration and verification of original documents.
- 3Based on the performance of the candidates in the walk-in-interview, candidates will be selected for undergoing Apprenticeship Training.
- 4Engagement letter will be sent to selected candidates through email; they must submit acceptance within 03 days and join within 07 days of receipt of the engagement letter.
- 5Failure to submit acceptance or join within the stipulated time will result in cancellation of selection.

How to apply
- Send a confirmation email to recruitment.immt@csir.res.in about your participation latest by 11 AM on 17.08.2026.
- Register on NATS 2.0 Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) for Diploma/Graduate candidates OR on NAPS portal (https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) for ITI candidates.
- Download and fill the application form (Annexure-I) available with the advertisement.
- Report at S.S. Bhatnagar Hall, CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar on 18.08.2026 between 9.30 AM and 10.15 AM for registration and document verification.
- Submit the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of all required documents at the time of reporting.
- Attend the Walk-in-Interview at 10.30 AM on 18.08.2026 in the conference room at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar.
Documents and additional conditions
Duration of Training: One (01) year under the Apprenticeship Act, 2025. Stipend: 50% paid by the Establishment and 50% by the Government. Government share for Graduate candidates is Rs. 4,500/- and for Diploma candidates is Rs. 4,000/- (paid at old rate as per BOPT Letter). Nature of Engagement: Purely temporary for one year only; not for regular employment. CSIR-IMMT has no obligation to offer employment upon completion of apprenticeship. Work Experience: Candidates should not have work experience of one year or more and should not have undergone Apprenticeship training elsewhere. Five-Year Limit: Candidates must have completed their diploma/graduation within the last five years and must not have completed five years after passing the qualifying examination. Portal Registration: Diploma/Graduate candidates must register on NATS 2.0 Portal; ITI candidates must register on NAPS Portal before attending the interview. Documents Required at Reporting: Original educational qualification certificates, Birth/SSLC certificate, caste/community certificate, experience certificate, College Leaving Certificate (CLC), and other relevant documents. Accommodation: Candidates must make their own arrangement for stay; hostel accommodation may be provided subject to availability. Vacancies are tentative and likely to be changed.
