NVS Non-Teaching Eligibility Criteria
Female Staff Nurse
- B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing from a recognized university/Institute. OR
- Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University/Institute. OR
Assistant Section Officer
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in administrative, financial, matters in central govt./ Autonomous organization under the central govt.
Audit Assistant
- B.Com from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in accounts work in a government/semi-government/ Autonomous organization.
Junior Translation Officer
- Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Legal Assistant
- Degree in law from a recognized university.
- Three years experience of handling legal cases in a Government Department/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSU.
Stenographer
- 12th pass from a recognized Board/Institute.
- Skill test norms-
- Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m.
- Transcription: 50 mts (eng.) 65 mts (Hindi) (On Computer)
Computer Operator
- BCA/B.Sc (computer science/ IT) from a recognized university/college.
- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT)
Catering Supervisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Tourism Govt. of India/ State Government. OR
- Trade proficiency certificate in catering with a minimum of 10 years services in defence services of regular establishment. (For Ex-servicemen only)
Junior Secretariat Assistant
- Senior Secondary Certificate (class-12) from a recognized Board and possessing a minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English typewriting or 25 words per minute in Hindi typewriting. OR
- Passed +2 level of senior secondary from CBSE/State Board with secretarial practices and office management as vocational subjects.
Electrician Cum Plumber
- 10th class pass.
- Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in the trade of Electrician/ Wireman.
- At least 2 years experience in electrical installation/ wiring/plumbing.
Lab Attendant
- 10th class pass with a certificate/ Diploma in laboratory technique.
- 12th class with a science stream from a recognized Board/University.
Mess Helper
- Matriculation pass
- 5 years experience working in a govt. residential organization Mess/School mess.
- Passing of skill test prescribed by NVS.
Multi Tasking Staff
- Class 10th pass from a recognized Board/ Institute.
