Chandigarh TGT Educational Qualification
- General Science (Non-Medical):- Graduate of a recognized university with physics, chemistry and mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Bachelor of Education Degree or its equivalent from an institute recognized by NCTE with Science/ Mathematics as a teaching subject and at least 50% marks in aggregate. Passing the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-2) for the post of master/mistress as per the detailed conditions notified by NCTE from time to time will be applicable.
- Fine Arts:- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with at least 50% marks.
- Home Science:- B.Sc. degree in home science or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. Bachelor of Education degree recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent with home science/ Domestic Science as teaching subject.
- Physical Education (D.P.E.):- Graduate of a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. D.P.Ed. or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Integrated degree in Physical education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks from a recognized.
